Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on 30 January 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska. When he was 13 years old, Bruce and his family moved from Nebraska to Casper (in the US state of Wyoming) in Wyoming, where his father served as Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's land conservation districts.
