Nancy O'Dell's radio career started as a reporter and anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle beach, South Carolina. Then she became a morning reporter and anchor at WCBD TV. The journalist's report on the lack of response of the police towards DUI incidents in Charleston resulted in an investigation by State Law Enforcement Division, that led to a revised policy from state officials regarding DUI cases. Ms. O'Dell was awarded the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. O'Dell then worked for the Miami-based NBC station WTVJ-TV as a investigative reporter prior to joining Access Hollywood in the role of weekend co-anchor. In addition, she serves as co-anchor for Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's been a reporter for the Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. Other co-hosting credits include Miss USA, the Miss USA pageant, and Miss Universe.
